Senate Dems Continue to Block DHS Funding Bill

Conservative members in the House are urging Senate Republicans to stand their ground in the standoff with Democrats over funding the Department of Homeland Security and stopping Obama’s executive actions on immigration.  The GOP-led Senate has tried three times to consider the DHS funding bill, but is shy of the 60 votes needed to break the Democrat filibuster.  Democrats refuse to allow debate or votes on the bill as long as it contains provisions defunding Obama’s executive amnesty.
