In a letter to President Obama Thursday, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, said: “I do not support efforts to circumvent Congress on immigration policy, and urge you to consider the harmful effects of some proposals on American workers should you act.” Grassley noted that high-tech employers asking Obama for more visas for foreign tech workers are laying off thousands of Americans.
