Record Number of Foreign-Born Workers

The number of foreign-born people holding jobs in the U.S. hit a record high of 25,108,000 in November, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS does not distinguish between legal immigrants, foreign students, temporary workers and illegal aliens.

The Obama years have been good for foreigners seeking U.S. jobs, but not Americans: in the seven years from November 2007 to November 2014, the number of native-born workers holding jobs declined by 1,456,000, while the number of foreign-born workers with jobs increased by 2,004,000.
