We note with great sadness the passing of D.A. King, a Georgia patriot who worked tirelessly to promote law enforcement against illegal immigration. He died at age 72, after a battle with cancer.
King founded the Dustin Inman Society in 2005 to carry out his work. It was named to commemorate Dustin Inman, a young man who died in a traffic accident because of reckless driving by an illegal alien who subsequently fled the United States to avoid prosecution.
As part of its mission statement, the Society affirmed that “America’s unsecured borders and the resulting illegal immigration represents a clear and present danger to our national security and public safety. We recognize that immigration into the United States is not a universal right and must be reasonable, sustainable, regulated and serve the national interest.”
While working with the American Immigration Control Foundation and other national restrictionist groups, King focused his efforts on passing state legislation to discourage illegal immigration. This often put him at odds with Georgia’s cheap labor business lobbies.
Despite his limited resources, King filed a lawsuit against the hyper-funded Southern Poverty Law Center, a neo-communist organization which specializes in smearing and defaming patriotic immigration reformers. With King’s passing, his estate will carry on the lawsuit.
