A recent Harvard Caps Harris poll asked registered American voters the following question: “Do you think Democrats deliberately kept the Southern border open to bring millions of immigrants into the country illegally or was that not their deliberate policy,”
Fifty-two percent of respondents said that it was a deliberate policy, and forty-eight percent said it was not deliberate. The breakdown by party was as follows: Eighty percent of Republicans said it was deliberate, and 20 percent said it was not. Seventy-five percent of Democrats said not deliberate, and 25 percent said deliberate.
Among independents and “others” the breakdown was 51 percent for deliberate and 49 percent for not deliberate.
