An AP-NORC poll found that 47 percent of Republicans believe that Democrats are purposely promoting open borders and mass immigration as a means to create new voters for their party.
The poll also asked “Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: There is a group of people in this country who are trying to replace native-born Americans with immigrants who agree with their political views.” One-third of the respondents were in agreement.
