Philadelphia Experiment II

Governor Greg Abbott of Texas has sent a second bus of illegal migrants to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, arriving at 9:45 am Monday. That busload consisted of 46 migrants, mostly men from a variety of countries such as Nicaragua, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. That brought the total sent to Philadelphia so far to nearly 100. Otherwise, Abbott tweeted the following figures pertaining to the other northern cities he has sent busloads to:

  • 8,400 to Washington, D.C.
  • 3,800 to New York City
  • 1,200 to Chicago

All told, this busload makes for “more than 13,500” migrants that Abbott has sent north this year. Though Northern mayors like Philly’s Jim Kenney have complained bitterly, in Kenney’s case calling Abbott’s actions a “despicable political stunt,” that number is a mere fraction of what Abbott’s state of Texas has had to endure due to the total negligence of the Biden administration of its constitutional duties.

Philadelphia officials have insisted they are ready for more. In all likelihood, they will get them, as Abbott’s Philadelphia experiments are likely to continue.
