In January of 2023 the Biden Administration began its “parole” program to admit large numbers of illegal aliens into the U.S. under the pretext that they have legitimate claims to political asylum. The parole law, a written by Congress, was intended to allow a limited number of foreigners to enter on a carefully-selected one-by-one basis. The administration has ignored these restrictions and used parole as an excuse for mass admissions of foreigners.
Since its inception, the Biden parole program has admitted almost 1.2 foreign nationals into the United States. While here, they’re supposed to wait for asylum hearings. But if they are turned down or decide not to show up, they face little danger of being sent home, at least as long as the administration’s lax policies for deportation remain in effect.
The parole program has two categories. One employs the CBP One app to enable foreigners to call in from where they are living to make an appointment to enter the U.S. Under this procedure, 680,500 foreigners have settled in the U.S., mainly from Venezuela, Cuba, and Haiti. The other category, humanitarian parole, has permitted 495,000 to fly into our country, primarily from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
