Last month an illegal alien from Haiti, Hermanio Joseph, was charged with vehicular homicide in an accident in Ohio with a bus carrying school children. One of the children, an eleven-year-old boy, died from the crash, and 26 others were injured. Joseph had been apprehended at the border but released due to the Biden Administration’s lenient policies toward illegal aliens.
The parents of the boy who died later held a press conference. Did they call for an end the policies that caused their son’s death and put the lives of other Americans at risk? Sadly, no. What they did was denounce concern about illegal immigration as “hate.” The father stated that he wished that the person who killed his son had been a 60-year old white man instead of one of the many Haitian illegals who recently have settled in that area of Ohio.
What can account for this bizarre inversion of natural affection which trumps the proper outrage parents should feel toward the perpetrator of their child’s death? The answer seems to be the mind-control cult of wokeness, which programs its adherents to believe that it is “hate” to criticize illegal immigration, while telling them that it’s OK to cast aspersions against white American citizens.
How many more Americans will have to suffer and die before this media-induced madness finally subsides? Unfortunately, it may not be any time soon, given its powerful and diabolical grip on so many people.
