A 64-year-old California woman, Marilyn Pharis, died after a Mexican illegal alien, Victor Martinez, and another man allegedly broke into her home as she slept. She was sexually assaulted. tortured, and beaten with a hammer. Santa Maria Police Chief Ralph Martin told reporters: “…from Washington, D.C., to Sacramento, there’s a blood trail into the bedroom of Marilyn Pharis.”
Police said Martinez has had numerous run-ins with the law, including one shortly before the attack on Marilyn Pharis. Chief Martin explained that just two weeks earlier Martinez had been arrested for possession of meth, but his department was forced to release him under California state law and Obama policies under which ICE will not seek to deport illegal alien criminals until they have been convicted of a felony.
