The federal district court judge hearing the lawsuit brought by 26 states against the Obama amnesty edict of November 2014 slapped an extraordinarily strong order on the Justice department lawyers on Thursday. Judge Andrew Hanen found that the Obama lawyers were intentionally deceptive when they discussed how many work permits had been given to illegal aliens under Obama’s edict.
Hanen wrote in his order filed Thursday: “The misconduct in this case was intentional, serious and material. In fact, it is hard to imagine a more serious, more calculated plan of unethical conduct.” The judge took the highly unusual step of ordering the administration’s attorneys to take a legal ethics course every year.
