Obama Amnesty Facing Another Legal Defeat

On July 10, three judges of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments in the lawsuit brought by 26 states that seeks to stop Obama’s executive action to protect millions of illegal aliens from deportation and give them work permits and other benefits.  The bad news for Obama is that two of the judges were on the court panel that ruled in May against the administration’s request to lift the temporary injunction, indicating their view that the plaintiffs were likely to win on the merits.

The case seems certain to end up before the Supreme Court.
