New York is now the New London

Today’s posting on X from the AIC Foundation sums it up. It refers to the fact that as of yesterday, we have followed in the steps of the United Kingdom, which in 2016 elected as mayor of its greatest city one Sir Sadiq Aman Khan. “Sir Sadiq” is, like Zohrain Mamdani, an ethnic Pakistani and Muslim.
The change has not gone well for London. It is now plagued by muggers, pickpockets, shoplifters, drug addicts, and metro dodgers. No longer is it the financial center of Europe, let alone the world. No large, much less beautiful, buildings are being built or even contemplated. The streets, where an estimated 183,000 struggle to survive, are awash in crime and illegal drug use. Like the country around it, it is besieged by a never-ending plague of foreign refuse whose tide its leaders cannot be troubled to deal. It is, in a word, doomed.
So is most probably New York. Its new mayor is an embarrassingly inexperienced, Muslim communist at the helm of a city already jampacked with foreign trash. Ask yourself, what could go wrong? The answer is, in another word: everything.
