The New York State Assembly voted 86-47 to allow illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses. To become law, this bill must pass the state senate and be signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. A poll in March found that 61 percent of New Yorkers oppose licenses for illegals. Twelve states currently permit illegal aliens to get driver’s licenses.
