Newly elected congresswoman from New Mexico, Yevette Herrell (R) strongly criticized the plan of the in-coming Biden Administration to halt construction of the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. She said the wall has greatly helped to stop flow of drugs into the U.S.
Herrell added that “[Biden] has said he will end this construction, violating contracts with builders and leaving our communities vulnerable to illegal crossings. Not only will this cost American taxpayers billions of dollars in settlement fees; it will also harm the construction industry along the border.”
