At an anti-terrorism conference in Vienna, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that mass migration contributes to terrorism. He cited an upsurge in terrorist attacks in Europe since the migrant crisis of 2015. He called on the United Nations to spend more against terrorism and less to promote migration. Szijjártó added that the potential of mass migration to cause social chaos makes it “a very serious threat to the whole of humanity.”
