As part of Obama’s executive amnesty scheme some 4 million illegal aliens will be given Social Security numbers. The Obama IRS says this will make them eligible to receive taxpayer-funded “refunds” — even when they haven’t paid income taxes and they were working illegally in the U.S. Illegals will be allowed to retroactively file tax returns for the last three years and collectively get about $1.7 billion in tax credit refunds.
It’s the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) that would trigger the projected $1.7 billion bonanza for illegals. The EITC was set up years ago to help move people off of welfare and into employment. Now the Obama IRS says amnestied illegals will be entitled to large refund checks [ many illegals could get as much as $6,000 for each of the past three years ] — even if they never filed returns, worked “off the books,” or used falsified or stolen documents to obtain jobs illegally.
