Gun rights activist Mark Walters joined baseball great turned radio talk show host Curt Schilling on Friday to discuss the intersection of the right to keep and bear arms with immigration policy. “Immigration, legal and illegal, poses…the greatest threat to our right to bear arms,” said Walters.
What is the connection between immigration and the Second Amendment? Walters explained it is the hostility of immigrants to traditional American views on private ownership of guns, and immigrants’ overwhelming support for Democrat politicians who support gun control.
Walters said that polls show that over 85% of immigrants are opposed to gun rights, and even those who are sympathetic to gun rights generally vote for Democrats. “Ask yourself why the Democrats want to open up our borders — it is to cement Democrat control,” he said.
