How do illegal aliens manage to pay for their journeys to the United States? One source is the United Nations, which gets abut a third of its funding from U.S. taxpayers, a sum of ($18 billion in 2022). A study by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) found that the U.N. agencies budgeted $372 million to assist the flow of illegal migrants across our border. That amount, notes CIS, helps to pay for their “transportation, food, shelter, legal advice.”
Once they are here, the tax-paid assistance continues. One example is the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Set up forty years ago to assist needy Americans, this agency last year shelled out $425 billion for what what CIS describes as the “transportation and basic needs” of resident illegals.
In addition some of our major cities such as New York and Chicago will be paying out a total of $12 billion to support their burgeoning illegal populations. And with state assistance to help cover those costs, the citizens throughout the states where those cities are located will be picking up the tab as well.
