Illegal Aliens in New York State are now eligible to get driver’s licenses. This provision, signed into law earlier this year by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, prevailed against legal challenges to stop it. According to one estimate, 265,000 illegal aliens in New York will get licenses during the next three years. Opponents of this law maintain that it will promote voter fraud and kinds of abuse.
