The Trump crackdown on illegal aliens has so far arrested more than 2,700 members of the nortorious Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Frday. Trump designated the gang as officially a terrorist organization early in his second term.
Some of those arrested have already been removed from the United States; others are expected to follow. Accompanying the Fox News article is a photo depicting 238 members of the gang and 23 members of the MS-13 gang being imprisoned in El Salvador.
In her remarks, Bondi said, in reference to Friday’s SCOTUS decision limiting the power of federal district judges:
Everyone in this room agrees that they are one of the most violent criminal organizations in the world. You should all feel safer now that President Trump can deport all of these gangs and not one district court judge can think that they’re emperor over this administration and his executive powers.
