Huntington Beach Sues State

The city of Huntington Beach, California, has voted to file a lawsuit against California’s sanctuary law. Under that law, state and local police departments are prohibited from notifying federal authorities when illegal aliens held in custody are being released. Without this knowledge, those authorities can’t move to deport them. Huntington Beach Mayor Mike Posey described the law as “constitutional overreach.”
