House Votes for Alien Housing Ban

By a margin of 224-203, the House voted to stop the Biden Administration from using National Park Service land in New York to house illegal aliens. It also would ban any federal land agencies from housing these foreigners. Six Democrats joined the Republicans to pass the measure.

It has little chance of passage in the Senate where opponent Charles Schumer (D-NY) controls the floor schedule. Nevertheless, its supporters view passage of the bill as a necessary statement of concern about the current crisis of illegal immigration.
