Vice President Kamala Harris, as the Democratic candidate for president, is now posing as upholder of border security to thwart illegal immigration. Nevertheless, earlier this summer, she reaffirmed her support for the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021, which would have granted amnesty to most illegal aliens in the country and an eight-year pathway for them to gain citizenship.
Critics ask how we can stop the flow of illegal immigrants if we encourage them to come by offering the reward of citizenship and all the benefits that come with it. Harris’ pick for vice president, Minnesota governor Tim Walz, has also endorsed amnesty and access to citizenship to broad classes of illegal aliens.
