Three GOP Senate primary winners made immigration control a key issue in their campaigns. They were Katie Britt in Alabama, J.D. Vance in Ohio, and Blake Masters in Arizona. Britt and Vance called for border control and reduction of legal immigration. Masters pledged to “end illegal immigration.” Vance stated during his campaign that “Joe Biden’s open border is killing Ohioans, with more illegal drugs and more Democrat voters pouring into this country.”
