If you follow the estimates of the illegal alien population of the United States, you know that for decades those estimates have been stuck at 11 million. That was the most common estimate, differing by a few percentage points, at least from 2002 onward to the present date. During that time the overall population of the country went from about 290 million to 340 Million, an increase of more than 50 million. Yet still the number of illegals never changed.
Were it not for the country’s suicidal “Birthright Citizenship” policy, the number would have skyrocketed. Yet in spite of that insane policy, no one believes the number of illegals hasn’t increased. Now, thanks to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), we have a new number, 18.6 million. That number is more than seven million greater than the tired old 11-mill figure, though even the new estimate is being questioned by skeptics. Commenters on FAIR’s announcement on X have had their own estimates, each far above 18.6 and often as high as 40 million or more.
The bottom line is this: The real number of illegal aliens in this country is not 11 million. It’s probably not 18.6 million. It may be much, much greater. The fact is, no one knows. But we know what it should be: zero.
