Georgia Law Proposed Against Sanctuaries

Georgia state Rep. Philip Singleton, and 19 co-sponsors are advancing legislation to outlaw sanctuary cities in the state, i.e., cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration law enforcement

“This legislation,” said Singleton, “is directly in line with President Donald Trump’s agenda and the agenda that Governor Brian Kemp ran on, and the Republicans across the state have talked about for years.  I’m very hopeful that they will decide to legislate the way that they campaigned.” An estimated 377,000 illegal aliens live in Georgia.
