Using data from the Census Bureau, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) found that the U.S. had 47 million foreign-born residents (legal and illegal) in April of this year, the highest total ever. The foreign-born population grew by two million during the first 16 months of the Biden Administration–twice as fast as the native-born population increased. Illegal aliens accounted for about two-thirds of the foreign-born growth.
CIS adds that “since 2000, the total foreign-born population has grown by 50 percent; it’s doubled since 1990, tripled since 1980, and quintupled since 1970.”
