The Biden Administration will terminate familial DNA testing for migrants by the end of this month, according to a report in Just the News. The purpose of this testing is to prevent illegal aliens from falsely claiming that children they bring with them are their children. Having related children with them increases the likelihood that they can remain in the U.S.
Illegal aliens know this, and they will bring non-related children along and claim these kids are theirs. Drug cartels are sometimes involved in providing the children.
Familial DNA testing helps to defeat this scam. A government accountability office reported last year that ten percent of cases tested revealed no family ties. Other sources say the figure is as high as 30 percent.
