Joe Biden, infamous for saying “this country can tolerate a heck of a lot more people,” is planning to add at least 52 million right off the bat, according to a study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). He would do this through a combination of amnesty, new visa programs, and increases to existing legal immigration levels.
Biden’s proposed amnesty, for anywhere from 11 to 22 million illegal aliens currently in the U.S, would make it possible for those newly legalized aliens to add millions more by bringing in family members through chain migration. According to FAIR, each new immigrant brings about 3.45 additional immigrants with them. That nets out to be over 43 million new residents alone. Other proposed new policies, such as his “city-request” visa category and other loosened and expanded visa programs, would further pad the total up to the estimated 52 million.
Note that these new foreign residents would all be here legally. Since a Biden administration would be expected to be lax on border control, the number of illegals would undoubtedly balloon well above the usual annual influx of one million.
Back in February, when Joe’s campaign appeared to be on life support, he proclaimed before an Asian-American group that to think that there’s any limitation on this country’s capacity to absorb any number of foreigners was “absolutely bizarre!”
The only thing bizarre is how close this dement now is to becoming the leader of the most powerful country on earth. What a world.
