Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), blasted President Obama’s planned unilateral amnesty edict for illegal aliens as “blatantly unconstitutional” and said Tuesday that if the GOP gained control of the Senate they would use the power of the purse and the courts to block his amnesty.
Ryan noted that the constitutional way for the president to change immigration policy was to work with Congress, not attempt to make or change laws by executive action going around Congress.
