The State Department has instructed all U.S. embassies and consulates to report on “human rights infringements” in the countries where are. Among the infringements the State Department specified are “arrests, administrative penalties, and ‘official investigations or warnings’ for speech; the enforcement of policies like affirmative action of diversity, equity, and inclusion that ‘provide preferential treatment’ to workers on the basis of race, sex, or caste; the facilitation of mass or illegal migration across a country’s territory into other countries. . . .”
Tommy Pigott, a deputy spokesman for the department, said these directives are in response to “new destructive ideologies have given safe harbor to human rights violations.” He is specifically referring to the efforts of various European governments to silence, and sometimes imprison, critics of multiculturalism and mass immigration.
