Court Upholds Forced Resettlement

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled against President Trump’s executive order which gives states, cities, and counties say-so over whether they have to accept refugee resettlement. Without this provision they have to allow resettlement by “charitable” organizations which receive government subsidies to place refugees. After resettlement, the states cities and counties are left to pick up the tab for public assistance that the refugees receive. The judge who wrote the opinion, Barbara Milano Keenan, an Obama appointee.
