After helping to pass gun control legislation, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) signaled support for pro-migration legislation to Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA). A reporter for the Huffington Post tweeted the following: “More positive — vibes — on the Senate floor. A smiling Cornyn tells Padilla, ‘First guns, now it’s immigration.’ ‘That’s right, we’re going to do it, [Sen. Krysten] Sinema (D-AZ) added.”
Sinema and Cornyn are now working on a bill which would streamline the processing of illegal aliens, while doing little to stem their entry. Padilla is supporting a major amnesty for illegal aliens.
