Census Bureau Stops Identifying Illegals

In a July 2019 executive order, President Trump instructed the Census Bureau to determine the citizenship status of all persons counted in the 2020 national census. The intent was to prevent states filled with noncitizens, such as California, to use huge numbers of illegal aliens to increase their representation in Congress and the Electoral College, at the expense of less noncitizen-heavy states.

The policy was immediately opposed by the Left in a series of lawsuits, and three lower federal courts ruled it illegal. In December, however, the Supreme Court found the case “riddled with contingencies and speculation” and declared that a decision at this time would be premature.

Now that the Democrats are certain to control the government in Washington, however, the Bureau has on its own ceased observing it.

A Census Bureau employee, speaking anonymously, told NPR yesterday that officials on Tuesday night ordered the “internal team assigned to carry out Trump’s presidential memo to stand down and cease their work immediately.”

The final numbers needed for reapportioning House seats and electoral votes are not expected to be ready until March 6, well into a Biden administration. At this point, it seems a safe bet that California and other states that have encouraged the alien bloat will use their demographics to increase their power even more.
