Boulder Suspect Ahmad Alissa: Complained of “Islamophobia”

Police are saying this morning that the shooter who killed 10 people at the supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, was one Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a 21-year-old living in nearby Arvada. Very little is known about his background at this point, but while he was at first mistakenly identified as a “white male,” he is now said to be a Syrian immigrant and a “deeply religious Muslim.” Various news outlets are reporting that Alissa’s family had lived in Colorado for 20 years.

On a now-deleted Facebook page, Alissa had complained of being the victim of “Islamophobia” and had voiced criticism of President Trump’s immigration policies while professing support for ISIS and the importation of refugees.

According to police, Alissa’s rage boiled over on Monday, resulting in the deaths of 10 random persons at the King Soopers supermarket in Boulder.
