Biden to Joint Session: The First Puppet Speaks on Immigration

First Puppet Joe Biden spoke to a largely empty House chamber last night, hailing the miraculous rise from the Trumpian ashes that democracy has achieved in just the first few short months of his administration. America is “rising anew” thanks to his benevolent and far-sighted leadership (and, of course, that of Madame Vice President Kamala Harris, as his speechwriters frequently took pains to remind us).

With a human catastrophe unfolding on our southern border, the unlettered might have thought the Imperial Puppet would have at least mimed a little about what his administration (and that of Madame Veep) was doing to halt the influx of thousands of illegal migrants every day.

But, no, instead the Puppet told the 200 or so lawmakers in attendance something like this:

I’ve done my part. On Day One of my presidency, I sent an immigration bill to Congress. Pass it and it’ll solve the problem.

Address the root causes of migration. I already solved that when I was Vice President, remember? But Trump threw away my solution. Vice President Harris will get it back

Won’t pass my bill? Then pass this, you dog-faced pony soldiers! Protect the Dreamers, permanently protect the temporarily protected, make citizens out of the farmworkers. And don’t forget what immigrants have done during this epidemic that was caused by the Wuhan virus from China.

C’mon, man, we need to ACT!

That was about the size of it. Nothing on stopping the invasion, nothing on beefing up the Border Patrol, nothing on protecting Americans. In short, nothing but pabulum, hokum, and malarkey.
