President Joe Biden has placed a bust of labor organizer Cesar Chavez in the Oval Office. Biden may not be aware that Chavez was a strong opponent of illegal immigration. The reason was that it undermined his efforts to organize farm workers and win them higher wages. Chavez sent men to the border to stop illegal aliens from crossing.
