Bad News for Obama Amnesty Edict at Appeals Court?

There were few positive signs for the Obama administration Friday as Obama’s executive actions on immigration were debated at a federal appeals court.  During more than two hours of oral argument before the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, Obama’s own statements were used by one of the three judges to put a Justice Department lawyer on the defensive.

By the time the court session concluded, it appeared likely that the judges will rule, 2-1, against the Obama administration’s request for a stay of the district court injunction barring Obama from going forward with his amnesty edict.
