Attacks on Immigration Enforcement Continue

A suspect threw a firebomb into the lobby of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in Oakland Park, Florida last week. This incident follows two recent assaults on immigration law enforcement facilities: shots fired at an ICE building in San Antonia, Texas, and the firebombing of an ICE building in Tacoma, Washington.

Ken Cuccinelli, acting director of USCIS, called the incident in Florida “another example of the use of violence in place of debate by those who oppose the proper application of our immigration laws”.
