Apprehensions Hit Record Low

Michael W. Banks, the chief of the Border Patrol, reports that his agency apprehended 8,326 illegal aliens at the U.S.-Mexico border in February, the lowest monthly total in recorded history. In contrast, 140,641 were arrested during the previous February under the Biden Administration. The latest total represents an 82 percent decline from December, the last month Joe Biden was president.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem thanked President Trump for his successful efforts to stem the flow of illegal aliens across our our southern border. She stated, “The world is hearing our message: do not come to our country illegally. If you do, we will find you, arrest you, and send you back. . . . We’re just getting started.”
