The Biden Administration’s alleged crackdown on illegal immigration has numerous loopholes to prevent effective enforcement. One example is an internal Border Patrol memo, obtained by FOX News, which was sent to agents in the San Diego sector after President Biden’s executive order announcing the crackdown. It called for removal of illegal aliens apprehended between ports of entry.
But the memo states that this does not apply to aliens from more than one hundred countries in the eastern hemisphere. They, like so many illegal migrants before them, will continue to be released into the U.S. with notices to appear in court at future dates. Whether they actually show up is another matter.
The Department of Homeland Security justifies this action by citing the refusal of some of these countries to cooperate with U.S. efforts to deport their citizens. In the past, most illegal aliens came from the western hemisphere. Now, increasingly, they’re coming from all over the world.
