In July, Border Patrol agents arrested 4,600 migrants who had illegally crossed our southwestern border. That number was down from 6,072 in June, a 24-percent drop. And compared with July of last year, during the Biden administration, the decrease was 92 percent. In addition, for the third month in a row, none of those arrested were released into the US. All remain in custody or have been removed. What’s more, while June had set a record low for single-day illegal crossings, July beat it: On July 20, only 88 arrests were tallied.
