Rally Attacked in Boulder

An Egyptian national, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, is charged with attacking peaceful rally attendees with a makeshift flamethrower and setting them on fire. The alleged incident took place in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday. The eight victims were members of pro-Israeli group which was calling for the release of hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza.

Onlookers said that during the attack Soliman yelled “End Zionists… they are terrorists” and “free Palestine.” FBI Director Kash Patel said that his agency was investigating the incident as a “targeted terror attack.” Deputy Director Dan Bongino described it as “ideologically motivated violence,” based on evidence and witness accounts.

One thing many commentators have noted is that Soliman should not have been in the United States. He entered the U.S. under the Biden Administration and overstayed his visa. Nevertheless, he was given a work authorization which expired in March of this year. Soliman is an illegal alien.
