As White House official Stephen Miller declared, the “judicial coup continues.” William H. Orrick, a federal judge for the Northern District of California, yesterday told the White House it could not “withhold, freeze, or condition federal funds” from sanctuary munipalities, which act to protect illegal aliens from arrest and deportation.
Judge Orrick, an Obama appointee, thus joins other judicial co-conspirators in the coup that is determined to block Trump at every turn. One such judge is Judge Indira Talwani of Massachusetts, who last week blocked Trump from revoking the legal status of more than 500,000 immigrants from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Haiti. Those otherwise illegal migrants had been welcomed by the open-borders Biden administration.
Miller elaborated on his “judicial coup” comments by posting this:
Unelected rogue regional judges are ordering the Administration to fund criminal sanctuaries for illegals and let the illegals vote. This is a lawless usurpation of democracy itself.
