Haitians Demand Arrest of Trump, Vance

A far-left group known as the Haitian Bridge Alliance and supported by George Soros has filed papers asking judges in Springfield, Ohio, to arrest former president Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance, for their efforts to “vilify and threaten the Haitian community” of Springfield. Guerline Jozef, a co-founder and the executive director of the group wrote in the filing:

If anyone else had disrupted public service, made false alarms, and engaged in telecommu0nications harassment in the manner Trump and Vance did with their relentless and persistent lies—even after the governor and mayor said what they were saying was false, they would’ve been arrested by now. They must be held accountable to the rule of law in the same way any of the rest of us would be.

In its report on the filing, the Associated Press admitted that charges brought by private citizens are rare in Ohio, but “not unheard of.” The AP cites the hypothetical instance in which a grocery store might “charge a customer for a bounced check.” That seems a bit of a far cry from an organization demanding the arrest of a former president and his running mate, but — in today’s America — we guess anything is possible.
