A leader of the community of Haitian illegals in Springfield, Ohio, told Fox News yesterday that he has discovered that America’s Founding Fathers intended the US to be open to entire world.
Viles Dorsainvil, the executive director of Springfield’s Haitian Community Help and Support Center, declared, “I think the American forefathers made that clear, that America should be an open country for everybody.”
In other words, citizens, that idea you had that your country belonged to you and your fellow citizens was all wrong: It belongs to them.
And that’s what Springfield is finding out. With their own government leadership in the back pocket of open-borders Democrats and cheap-labor businesses, the citizens of Springfield are being left with little recourse but to endure the calamity that is happening to them. Where just a couple of years ago the city’s population was less than 60,000, it has now increased by 20,000 — virtually all of them recent Haitian migrants. And those newcomers have arrived expecting — in the words of Mr. Dorsainvil — to be treated with “respect and dignity.” Which generally means, “Hand over all you got!”
Never mind their lack of driving skills (“five or six [crazy] accidents a week”), their dietary habits (stealing and eating family pets and park wildlife according to numerous accounts, many backed up by videos), or the catastrophic burden placed on all community services. These natives of possibly the most disastrous country in the world are claiming it is their a right to come and “share their culture.”
That’s what Mr. Dorsainvil thinks will get the city back to “normal”: educating the indigenous population about the newcomers’ culture — a culture founded in the wholesale slaughter of whites and featuring cannibalism, devil worship, and abject, centuries-old penury.
No, Mr. Dorsainvil, things for Springfield’s citizenry will never be “normal” again. And the kind of normalcy possible to Haiti is nothing any civilized person would want anything to do with.
