Hungarian cabinet minister Gergely Gulyás observed that “If Brussels wants to continue to impose a regulation on Hungary that makes it impossible to detain migrants at the external border, we will transport them to Brussels voluntarily and free of charge after following the European procedures.”
In the U.S., officials of sanctuary cities have had to tone down some of their enthusiasm for illegal mass migration after facing its realities. Perhaps such encounters could have a similar effect on the EU bureaucrats in Brussels.
