Dems Want Illegals for Votes

The Quote Below—More Misinformation from the Media

“Leading members of the Grand Old Party are weaving a grand unified conspiracy theory.

“Many of the same Republicans who are pushing the falsehood that Democrats want an immigrant invasion to overwhelm “traditional” voters and take over the country—their version of the great replacement. . . .

“ ‘There is a connection between the ‘great replacement’ theory and the big lie,’ said Marilyn Mayo, a senior research fellow at the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism. “In terms of the 2020 election and the big lie, it’s partially based on the idea that there were possibly undocumented immigrants who voted in the election.”

“This claim also patches over a logical gap in the “great replacement theory” which ignores the reality that neither legal nor undocumented immigrants can vote in federal and state elections. If you claim huge numbers of them are already voting illegally, those facts don’t matter.

“The mainstreamed version of the ‘great replacement theory’ isn’t exactly the same as the one pushed by avowed white supremacists and neo-Nazis. . . .. The original white supremacist theory claims  that a wave of non-white immigrants are trying to replace white, native-born citizens in the U.S. and Europe by flooding into those countries and outbreeding the native population. Many versions of the theory say it’s orchestrated by a secret cabal of wealthy elites—often Jews.

The more-mainstream Republican version swaps out Jews for Democrats, and instead of arguing their aim is total societal replacement, they say it’s all about political domination. –- Racist Great Replacement Theory Got a Boost from the GOP’s Election Lies, Cameron Joseph, Vice News, 5/19/22 [Link]

Fact of Above Quote: The view that many Democrats want mass immigration to strengthen their party is too real to be a theory and too obvious to be a conspiracy. Democrat political analysts surely are aware that immigrants substantially favor their party over Republicans. They also surely haven’t failed to notice that California, once a Republican-leaning state, is now a solidly Democratic one-party state. California, among all states, has both the largest number and percentage of immigrants.

To be fair there is no strong proof that Democrats are trying to promote election fraud so that illegal aliens will vote—illegally—for their candidates. Nevertheless, they give at least some credence to this belief with their opposition to voter ID for voters.

In any case, it’s plain that many Democrats view illegal aliens as voters for their party by granting them amnesty and citizenship. A prominent Democratic strategist, Robert Creamer, specifically outlined this strategy, in 2007, in his book, How Progressives Can Win (page 555). Creamer stated:

“[T]he immigration battle is important because it will have an enormous impact on the battle for power between then progressive and conservative forces in American society. . . . [T]here are 12 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. If they [get amnesty] they will be eligible for citizenship and voting rights. They will join the nearly 30 million immigrants who are legal residents. . . . [who] register to vote.

“If Democrats continue to stand firmly for immigrant rights, the issue will define immigrants’ loyalties for a generation. If we are successful, a gigantic block of progressive voters will enter the electorate . . . [and] that could be decisive in the battle for the future.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) recently said that all illegal aliens in the U.S. should receive amnesty and a pathway to citizenship. She added that Kamala Harris, if elected president, would work with Congress to carry out that goal. Both are following Robert Creamer’s script to the letter.
