In testimony to the House Oversight Committee, the Border Patrol chief of the Tucson sector, John Modlin, offered his view as to why so many illegal aliens are now crossing the border. He stated that when illegals were asked this question in interviews “the most common response was that they believe that when the administration changed, the law changed and policy changed and that there was an open border.”
Commenting on Modlin’s testimony, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) replied, “Chief, I’m glad you said that because ladies and gentlemen, the law did not change, Joe Biden decided not to follow the law.”
